Edison Ford Emerging Inventors

Emerging Inventors tend to their vegetable garden and much more

  • December 3 & 17 – 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. – Holiday Fun

emerging inventors dec 2015 santa   Emerging Inventors get ready for the holidays with a visit from Santa and will create presents and ornaments. Emerging Inventors will participate in a bubble experiment that looks like real snow!

A group of Emerging Inventors ages one – Pre-K, sign up to tend their vegetable garden and learn a new topic in science, history and the arts and learning to socialize with others.

The youngsters are joined by their moms, dads, and grandparents for the learning experience. Many families bring a bag lunch or have lunch at the Banyan Refreshment Area with other families.

Emerging inventors dec 2015 garden   The program is directed by Deborah Bowers, Edison Ford faculty and art teacher, and Pearce Augustenborg, Edison Ford faculty and Mr. Wizard. In the photos, inventors are tending their new garden and also creating smoke clouds in the Edison Caretaker’s House.

Cost: Edison Ford Members $5 (one adult; one child); non-members $15 (one adult; one child. Each additional child is $5.
