Edison Ford Business Members are Important

Posted by Edison Ford Winter Estates On February 25th

Most of the businesses do much more than participate as Members as they take on volunteer projects, contribute in-kind services and products, and provide other support to Edison Ford. Since the new non-profit organization took over Edison Ford in 2006, our Business Members have been playing important roles in our funding and programming costs.

summer camp may 2014 update     One such business is Advanced Polymers, whose owners Don and Arlene Keehan, have donated annually to support the Wild Wizard Hands-On Science Program by funding one of the teaching positions and related costs. General Electric Services also support education programming. The involvement of each business becomes tailored to our needs but also the resources of the business.

For the businesses who become members their opportunities to become engaged at Edison Ford include holding a business meeting or event for FREE each year at Edison Ford, get monthly updates and tour the site as often as they want. Perhaps the biggest benefit is knowing that they are helping to support an important and still young non-profit which adds so much to the cultural and educational quality of life in the region.
