     Edison Ford would like to introduce its newest staff member to the Curatorial Department, James Moss. James is a former teacher for the Lee County School District where he taught automotive repair and restoration for 30 years. In December he joined the staff as our first official Automotive Curator and will work with all of our antique vehicles. Preservation work will consist of engine repair, rust removal, cleaning and some cosmetic revamping.

In addition to working on the mechanical aspects, James will offer weekly educational lectures on the history and technical aspects of the vehicles. curatorial james moss 2His first assignment involves the research and development of a new Quadricycle which will be used to teach visitors of all ages about Henry Ford’s initial work with internal combustion engines.
