hypertufa orbs   Using Hypertufa, a mixture of Portland cement, peat moss, vermiculite, perlite and water, sculpt up to three orbs that you can hang or place in a pot. By attaching tillandsia (air plants), you will create a one-of-a-kind miniature living garden sculpture. Jim Hopton, retired art teacher, and inventor of the Edison Orb, along with Debbie Hughes, will instruct the two-part class in the Edison Greenhouse. The two-part class is limited to 10 participants, with a week in between for proper drying time. You will need to bring rubber kitchen gloves, and we will provide remaining supplies plus one air plant! To register contact Leeanne Criswell at 239-334-7419.

Cost: $30 for the two day class.
