Edison Ford Junior Naturalist Program Begins this Month

●   September 20, 2014 & April 11, 2015 – Animals and Habitats; 9:00 a.m. – Noon

●   September 27, 2014 & April 18, 2015 – Trees, Seeds & Flowers; 9:00 a.m. – Noon

●   October 4, 2014 & April 25, 2015 – River Ecology and Ecosystems; 9:00 a.m. – Noon

owl april 2014      The Junior Naturalist program is an exploration of the natural environment in Southwest Florida. Each class targets a different aspect of our environment with animals and habitats, trees, flowers, seeds and weather and a final summation class, covering ecosystems, river ecology and preservation. If a student completes all three classes, the student will receive an Edison Ford Junior Naturalist Badge and Certificate. The Junior Naturalist program is taught by certified Wetlands Master Naturalists and Edison Ford Faculty with much of the time spent in the Edison Ford gardens. Registration is required.

Cost: One class: Edison Ford Members $40; non-members $50; Three classes: Edison Ford Members $100; non-members $125.
